COLDPLAY music in Season 2 of Glee?

The hit Fox TV series “Glee” has abundant line up of popular bands to have their music performed on the show. Though not everyone took the opportunity ahead, including the British alternative Rock Band Coldplay. Ryan Murphy (Producer of Glee) said that many musical groups didn’t know what the show was all about and would ask for scripts in advance. Though Murphy was not interested in sharing and he didn’t want to allow any musicians a hand in the direction of the Show. This policy leads to two famous refusals, one from Canadian singer Bryan Adams and another from Coldplay. Last week Coldplay called Murphy to apologize regarding their dumb decision and offer up their entire records for use on the show. It has become increasingly difficult for television shows to acquire musical rights these days as this case points out. Murphy, discussing the clearance situation with other top TV producers, noted that new shows are often asked for fees for rights to use music in their shows. can't wait to Watch Glee Season 2 Premiere

Download Glee: Journey to the Regionals

Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals will contain songs from the season one finale. The EP is set to be released on June 8, 2010. This is the first time a rival glee club team has had a song released physically, the past ones have only been available as a digital download.

A lot of big changes are happening in the next episode of "Glee". Puck makes the biggest move, shaving off his mohawk and seducing Mercedes in a bid to elevate his social status. Smelling something rotten in the air, Mercedes snaps, "I'm gonna ask you to stop!"

Meanwhile, Kurt tries to change his persona to impress his father. This means, taking an advice from Sue Sylvester and hooking up with Brittany in the basement. Rachel panics when a sore throat affects her singing and the doctor jokingly says she can't sing anymore.

In a spoiler by TV addict, it was said that Kurt will do two big solos, one of them being "Rose's Turn" from the musical production "Gypsy: A Musical Fable". Finn will also get his solo piece, singing Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl".

Mr. Schuester starts an investigation when a salacious list about members of the glee club circulates the halls of McKinley High. Meanwhile, Sue is mortified when a video of her performing the Olivia Newton-John classic "Physical" surfaces.

"Bad Reputation" airs on May 4. On a side note, Robin Trocki who plays Sue's sister Jean and appeared in episode "Wheels" will return in the upcoming episode.

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences held "An Evening With Glee" on Monday, April 26 in Los Angeles. Speaking of the possibility of Britney Spears episode, creator Ryan Murphy told On the Red Carpet, "We talked about it. She certainly would love to do it. And I think she's phenomenally talented. And the kids and the cast certainly have a great connection to her. So maybe, yeah. We're going to talk about it."

Broadway superstars Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff guest-star in the highly anticipated spring premiere of GLEE airing at a special time, Tuesday, April 13 (9:28-10:30 PM ET/PT), following AMERICAN IDOL on FOX.

In the “Hell-o” episode, GLEE picks up as New Directions is fresh off their monumental win at Sectionals and feeling on top of the world. With an extra spring in their step, they get to work on new numbers for Regionals – incuding a memorable rendition of The Beatles’ “Hello, Goodbye.” But when RACHEL (Lea Michele) and FINN’s (Cory Monteith) budding romance hits a bump in the road after she becomes involved with a competitor, JESSE ST. JAMES (guest star Groff), it threatens to derail the entire club. MR. SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison) pays a visit to SHELBY CORCORAN (guest star Menzel), coach of Vocal Adrenaline, to confirm Jesse’s motives. Meanwhile, Will is newly single, but is he ready to take his relationship with EMMA (Jayma Mays) to the next level?
