COLDPLAY music in Season 2 of Glee?

The hit Fox TV series “Glee” has abundant line up of popular bands to have their music performed on the show. Though not everyone took the opportunity ahead, including the British alternative Rock Band Coldplay. Ryan Murphy (Producer of Glee) said that many musical groups didn’t know what the show was all about and would ask for scripts in advance. Though Murphy was not interested in sharing and he didn’t want to allow any musicians a hand in the direction of the Show. This policy leads to two famous refusals, one from Canadian singer Bryan Adams and another from Coldplay. Last week Coldplay called Murphy to apologize regarding their dumb decision and offer up their entire records for use on the show. It has become increasingly difficult for television shows to acquire musical rights these days as this case points out. Murphy, discussing the clearance situation with other top TV producers, noted that new shows are often asked for fees for rights to use music in their shows. can't wait to Watch Glee Season 2 Premiere

Watching GLEE season 1 finale entitled “Journey” was really awkwardly low. Were you fulfilled with the last episode of this season? Well if not, then try to watch it again from the beginning of the Season. But don’t be gloomy; GLEE will return for another season which will air on September 1, 2010. I know you miss the casts but they will come again to entertain and amuse us once again with more revelation and surprise guest stars. Every Thursday at 8pm, starting June 10 Fox will air Season 1 repeats. This post will be updated for the spoilers of GLEE season 2.

Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals will contain songs from the season one finale. The EP is set to be released on June 8, 2010. This is the first time a rival glee club team has had a song released physically, the past ones have only been available as a digital download.
