COLDPLAY music in Season 2 of Glee?

The hit Fox TV series “Glee” has abundant line up of popular bands to have their music performed on the show. Though not everyone took the opportunity ahead, including the British alternative Rock Band Coldplay. Ryan Murphy (Producer of Glee) said that many musical groups didn’t know what the show was all about and would ask for scripts in advance. Though Murphy was not interested in sharing and he didn’t want to allow any musicians a hand in the direction of the Show. This policy leads to two famous refusals, one from Canadian singer Bryan Adams and another from Coldplay. Last week Coldplay called Murphy to apologize regarding their dumb decision and offer up their entire records for use on the show. It has become increasingly difficult for television shows to acquire musical rights these days as this case points out. Watching GLEE season 1 finale entitled “Journey” was really awkwardly low. Were you fulfilled with the last episode of this season? Well if not, then try to watch it again from the beginning of the Season. But don’t be gloomy; GLEE will return for another season which will air on September 1, 2010. I know you miss the casts but they will come again to entertain and amuse us once again with more revelation and surprise guest stars. Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals will contain songs from the season one finale. The EP is set to be released on June 8, 2010. This is the first time a rival glee club team has had a song released physically, the past ones have only been available as a digital download.

Summary: A sore throat impacts Rachel's singing; Kurt tries to impress his father; Puck hopes to elevate his social status.

A lot of big changes are happening in the next episode of "Glee". Puck makes the biggest move, shaving off his mohawk and seducing Mercedes in a bid to elevate his social status. Smelling something rotten in the air, Mercedes snaps, "I'm gonna ask you to stop!"

Meanwhile, Kurt tries to change his persona to impress his father. This means, taking an advice from Sue Sylvester and hooking up with Brittany in the basement. Rachel panics when a sore throat affects her singing and the doctor jokingly says she can't sing anymore.

In a spoiler by TV addict, it was said that Kurt will do two big solos, one of them being "Rose's Turn" from the musical production "Gypsy: A Musical Fable". Finn will also get his solo piece, singing Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl".

Summary: Mr. Schuester investigates when a salacious list about the glee club members circulates the school; a video surfaces of Olivia Newton-John performing with Sue. "Glee" will welcome two guest stars next week in the episode "Bad Reputation". Molly Shannon is Brenda Castle, McKinley High's badminton coach who develops a prickly and combative relationship with Sue. Meanwhile, Olivia Newton-John appears as herself, singing "Physical" with Sue.

Mr. Schuester starts an investigation when a salacious list about members of the glee club circulates the halls of McKinley High. Meanwhile, Sue is mortified when a video of her performing the Olivia Newton-John classic "Physical" surfaces.

"Bad Reputation" airs on May 4. On a side note, Robin Trocki who plays Sue's sister Jean and appeared in episode "Wheels" will return in the upcoming episode.

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences held "An Evening With Glee" on Monday, April 26 in Los Angeles. Speaking of the possibility of Britney Spears episode, creator Ryan Murphy told On the Red Carpet, "We talked about it. She certainly would love to do it. And I think she's phenomenally talented. And the kids and the cast certainly have a great connection to her. So maybe, yeah. We're going to talk about it."

Glee Return for Brand New Episodes!

Broadway superstars Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff guest-star in the highly anticipated spring premiere of GLEE airing at a special time, Tuesday, April 13 (9:28-10:30 PM ET/PT), following AMERICAN IDOL on FOX.

In the “Hell-o” episode, GLEE picks up as New Directions is fresh off their monumental win at Sectionals and feeling on top of the world. With an extra spring in their step, they get to work on new numbers for Regionals – incuding a memorable rendition of The Beatles’ “Hello, Goodbye.” But when RACHEL (Lea Michele) and FINN’s (Cory Monteith) budding romance hits a bump in the road after she becomes involved with a competitor, JESSE ST. JAMES (guest star Groff), it threatens to derail the entire club. MR. SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison) pays a visit to SHELBY CORCORAN (guest star Menzel), coach of Vocal Adrenaline, to confirm Jesse’s motives. Meanwhile, Will is newly single, but is he ready to take his relationship with EMMA (Jayma Mays) to the next level? And to top it all off, SUE SYLVESTER (Jane Lynch) returns from her condo in Boca with a renewed focus on destroying Will and disbanding the glee club.
